Six Flags Qiddiya is an upcoming theme park located in Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia, that will feature 28 rides and attractions across six lands. It is owned by Qiddiya Investment Company and operated by Six Flags. It is part of an entertainment mega project to be established in Riyadh called Qiddiya.[1] The park aims to have 12 world-breaking attractions. [2]
Lands
It was announced on the 26th of August 2019 that Six Flags Qiddiya will be divided into six themed "lands", which will house 28 rides and attractions. There will also be a central hub called the Citadel. Some of these attractions will be Arabian themed, inspired by Saudi Arabia's culture and wildlife that is unique to the region.[3]
The City of Thrills
The land will host the world's fastest, tallest, and longest roller coaster called The Falcons' Flight and it will host the world's tallest drop-tower ride to be named the Sirocco Tower.[4]
Discovery Springs
The land promises to explore the relationship between the desert and the sea. It will host a number of interactive water rides called Sea Stallion.
Steam Town
The main ride of this land will be the Iron Rattler Mine Train, along with Sawmill Falls Water Coaster, Bull Rider and the Treehouse Trek.[5]
Twilight Gardens
The land's key feature will include the Twilight Express Coaster, the Critter Chase and the Kaleidoscope hot air balloon ride.
Valley of Fortune
The land's main attractions are the Spitfire, Skywatch, Treasure Trail, and the Aeromax.
Grand Exposition
The land's main attractions are the Gyrospin Pendulum, the Colossus, the Arabian Carousel, the Expo Flyer, and the Automania.
