Skuola.net is an Italian news and notes site dedicated to middle, high school and university students.
The History
Skuola.net was created in March 2000 on the initiative of Marco Sbardella, Daniele Grassucci and Alessandro Pilloni, then students of the "Isaac Newton" scientific high school in Rome who started sharing their school notes online[2]. On December 23, 2010 Skuola.net became a newspaper registered in the Register of Communication Operators (Registro degli Operatori di Comunicazione) which deals with education, training and youth issues.
In 2018 Skuola organized at Binario F (the Facebook competence center in Italy) a school-work alternation program for the development of digital skills in high school students[3]. The same year the company also participated in the proposing consortium of the "Peers say No" initiative, a project on intellectual property aimed at young people.[4]
Since 2019 it has been collaborating with Huffington Post with a page dedicated to news, research and analysis on the world of school and university, including articles on the uses and new trends of Generation Z and Millennials[5]

In 2015, Skuola.net is cited by CENSIS for a survey on the use of the selfie among young people, in the entry "Solitudine" published on the Enciclopedia Treccani[16].
In 2019, the journalist and essayist Sergio Rizzo, reports in his work La memoria del criceto[17] some surveys of Skuola.net relating to the choice of the historical theme by the graduates. Also in 2019, in the figure of Daniele Grassucci, director and co-founder of the site, Skuola.net participates in the television broadcast Dimartedì on La7, conducted by the journalist Giovanni Floris, for a comparison on school, young people, training, university and work with the pollster Nando Pagnoncelli and journalist Silvia Sciorilli Borrelli[18].
