Sleishman is a manufacturer of drum kits and drum kit components.
Founded and headed by Australian drummer Don Sleishman, the brand is particularly noted for the Sleishman twin bass drum pedal. Don had been making these privately for some years before finally forming the company in 1978, having made the first one for a friend.
David Sleishman, Don's son now directs the company, developing new lines of drums called the 'Pro Series' in Rock, fusion or Jazz sizes. This is their drum line below the custom built drums. They have also developed a new version of the Twin Pedal which sets the drummer in the middle of the drum kit by creating a symmetrical pedal that allows the snare to be placed in the middle of the kit between the two pedals. Due to its symmetrical design it can be played by Right and left footed drummers without chaning configuration of the pedal.
Sleishman today also make complete drum kits, serving the top professional market.
