Slow Dance in the Cosmos is the first studio album by the New York-based band Porches, the primary music project by lead singer and frontman Aaron Maine.
Background
The album features vocals and bass by then-member Frankie Cosmos, whose romantic relationship with Maine at the time inspired much of its lyrical content.[1] The album was recorded, engineered, and produced at the Business District in Johnson City, New York. Maine himself painted the album artwork, having studied painting for three years while he attended college.[2]
