Slyce Apparel , commonly known as just Slyce, is a Brazilian clothing manufacturer mainly focused on tennis uniforms.[1][2]

In 2023, Jorge Castello Branco and Felipe Tersi, then aged 25 and 28, founded Slyce after working for three years in the Mergers and Acquisitions division at Itaú BBA. Branco left the bank first to pursue a business venture, with Tersi following a few months later. Branco, who had played college soccer in the United States, cited a personal interest in entrepreneurship and sports as key influences. Drawing on the experience of his older brother, who had started a nutritional supplement company, he began working on the idea of a sportswear brand. From the beginning, he focused on shaping the brand’s identity and concept with the aim of entering a competitive market that includes companies such as Fila, Nike, and Adidas.[3]
With support from former professional tennis player Mauro Menezes, Branco began meeting with suppliers, event organizers, and athletes to develop the initiative. The brand was conceived with international aspirations. Its name, “Slyce,” is a variation of the tennis term “slice,” with the spelling altered by adding a “y” for visual effect in the logo.[3]
On April 30, 2025, the brand opened its first store at the MorumbiShopping in São Paulo, Brasil.[3]

In 2025 Slyce was announced as one of the main sponsors for the WTA 250 tournament SP Open.[4][5]
