History
Smart Chem Cable Industries Limited is a privately owned manufacturer situated in Jhenaidah Division; an industry organization under the Rafsan Group. The company was established in Jhenaidah with the joint initiative of the Rafsan Group in 2015. Since 2019, this company has been producing commercially international standard telecommunications copper cables fulfilling 100% demand of the home country.
Considering the ever-growing demand of fiber optic cables.[1] in the present information technology and telecommunication, internet and networking era, a fiber optics cable manufacturing plant is installed with state-of-the-art technology, which started commercial manufacturing from last May 2017. The company has been able to make a profit every year and its yearly revenue in 2020 increased over 490 million BDT.
Considering the global demand of Silicon Duct HDPE for setting fiber optics cable connection, the Silicon Duct HDPE Plant was installed in the year 2019–2020, and has been fully operational since last December 2020.
