Smit Toshniwal is an Indian badminton player from Nashik, Maharashtra. She currently ranks 84 in the world.[1] Smit has won several gold medals at national-level events ithe n junior category as an individual and a team.
Early Life[edit]
Smit was born in Nashik, Maharashtra. She attended Rasbihari International School.[2]
Career[edit]
In 2018, Smit competed at the India Open HSBC Tour Super 500. She was officially selected for the Junior Indian Team for Dutch and German Junior 2019.[3] She was the girls' champion in the All India Junior Ranking Tournament in Vijayawada in 2019.[4]
In 2022, Smit beat Ashmita Chaliha in the Odisha Open Badminton Tournament.[5] She also participated in the Syed Modi International Tournament in 2022 and beat Purva Barve.[6]
