Snapshot is an upcoming American sci-fi thriller film based on the novel of the same name by Brandon Sanderson.
Plot[edit]
In the future, law enforcement uses the day through Snapshot Duty, a recreation of a specific day and time to solve crimes. A detective assigned to investigate the memory of an unreported call, and he makes a horrifying discovery.

Development[edit]
In January 2017, MGM acquired Brandon Sanderson’s novel “Snapshot” before it’s book release and co-produce the film with Broken Road Productions and Entertainment 360.[1] There have been no further developments as of April 2020.
