Sneakersnstuff also known as SNS is an international footwear and apparel retailer for men and women with headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden.

The company was founded in 1999 by Erik Fagerlind and Peter Jansson.

Sneakersnstuff is recognized as one of the leading sneaker boutiques in the world with locations in Stockholm, London, Paris, Berlin and New York City.

History[edit]

Erik Fagerlind and Peter Jansson are the pioneers of turning a sneaker collecting habit into a global retail experience. Fagerlind and Jansson were both avid sneaker lovers who had been working in the sports & lifestyle categories for a few years, when they saw a hole in the Swedish retail market - specifically to sneaker consumers with more niche tastes, as there was no alternative to the big retail chains dominating the market in Stockholm in the late 90's. After a successful trip to New York City that yielded both inspiration and the acquisition of some exclusive product that Sweden had yet to see, Sneakernstuff first opened its doors on March 26th, 1999 in Stockholm. Later in May of the same year, the web shop Sneakersnstuff.com was in full effect, selling hard-to-get sneakers to the rest of Sweden.

In 2009 Sneakersnstuff won a grand slam at Modegalan, an annual fashion award show hosted and curated by Habit[1], the largest magazine for the fashion business in Scandinavia. Sneakersnstuff received the Online Retailer of the Year Award, the Young Fashion Store of the Year Award and the most desirable award of them all, the Fashion Store of the Year.

Sneakersnstuff is widely known for always carrying carefully selected items and hard to come by sneakers from the likes of adidas, Nike, Jordan Brand, New Balance, Reebok, Vans, Converse, Diadora as well as apparel by Stussy, MadeMe, Reigning Champ, Mini Rodini, The North Face, Aries, Arc'teryx Veilance, Billionaire Boys Club, Carhartt, Champion and Rodebjer. In addition to house numerous sneaker and streetwear brands, Sneakersnstuff stocks their own synonymous SNS label, as well as wildly popular brand collaborations exclusive to Sneakersnstuff.

Stores[edit]

Almost two decades after its opening, Sneakersnstuff is still located on Södermalm, Stockholm and has since then opened four more boutiques. In 2014 Sneakersnstuff opened up its first store outside of Sweden, in London. Two years later, in 2016, the next boutique opened in Paris. Just one year later, in 2017 Berlin got its own SNS location all leading up to the first United States of America location in the Meatpacking District of New York City.

Collaborations[edit]

Over the years, Sneakersnstuff has been collaborating with brands to produce limited edition sneakers. Some examples are the golf-inspired "Tee Time Pack" or the SNS exclusive "Datamosh Pack" with adidas, the "London Pack" with Vans, several New Balance and Reebok models as well as collaborations with Nike, Puma, Converse, Asics, Lacoste, Tretorn, Supra, Ellesse, Happy Socks, Denim Demon, Karhu and Brooks. Furthermore, Sneakersnstuff has collaborated with a wide range of artists on their own SNS label such as Parisian artist Yue Wu, New York City photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis or Stockholm graffiti artist NUG.
