Snowball (born Cameron Scott Nichols; June 16, 1998 – April 2, 2024), also known as Kayla Snow, was an American YouTuber and ASMR content creator. Active under the pseudonyms Snowballowo and Sgtwaflez, they gained recognition for their ASMR videos, which often incorporated roleplay and immersive audio techniques.
Biography
Snowball began their YouTube career in 2008, initially under the username Sgtwaflez. Their content evolved to focus on ASMR, a genre characterized by auditory triggers designed to induce relaxation. By 2025, their primary channel, Snowballowo, had accumulated over 20,000 subscribers and more than 3.4 million total views.
Beyond YouTube, Snowball was known within the furry fandom community, where they contributed under the alias Kayla Snow. Their work extended to platforms like Twitch, where they engaged with audiences through live streams.
Death and legacy
Snowball died on April 2, 2024, at the age of 25. Their passing was publicly acknowledged in online communities, including a memorial post on Reddit and a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe. The campaign, titled "Cameron Nichols - Kayla Snow," was created to support funeral expenses and celebrate their life.
