SocialWeaver

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

SocialWeaver is a social media management tool for businesses and independent social media managers. The software brings social accounts from different platforms together in its interface and has capabilities for scheduling and publishing content as well as actively listening to other accounts.[1] The platform is integrated across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube, and RSS.

SocailWeaver was founded by Yousif Abood, Evgeniy Masyakin, and Bill de la Vege, on April 17th, 2017. It’s based in Reston, Virginia.[2]

History[edit]

Founders Yousif Abood, Evgeniy Masyakin, and Bill de la Vege created SocialWeaver when they couldn’t find a platform that offered everything they needed from their social media management tools. The main issue the group found with other platforms was that they were only able to publish content, not help them discover what their audience was actually engaging with. To create a social strategy that would reach users, they needed to listen to their competitors and see how the people whose attention they were competing for reacted to posts. From there, they decided to make their own platform.[3]

SocialWeaver was founded on April 17, 2017, and soon after released their beta version. They were issued a trademark on August 8, 2017,[4] and came out of beta 3 days later on August 11.[5]

Software and Services[edit]

SocialWeaver has a set of features centered around three main capabilities: scheduling and publishing content, social listening across other brands accounts, and engaging with users on social platforms from within the interface.[6]

Social Media Publishing[edit]

SocialWeaver can consolidate social accounts on different platforms into one place. The publishing capabilities include repurposing posts for other channels, scheduling posts in the future, and categorizing content to be automatically reused later.[7]

Social Media Engagement[edit]

SocialWeaver has a set of engagement features built into the platform. Within SocialWeaver’s interface managers can respond to messages and comments and move between social media platforms.[8]

Social Media Listening[edit]

SocialWeaver can listen and measure sentiment and engagement across different platforms by examining user responses to posts from both your account and other accounts.[9]

Pricing[edit]

SocialWeaver has a basic version that is free. A premium version is available for 49.99 a month and provides sentiment analysis and in-app chat support.[10]
