Sofia Saidi[edit]

Sofia Saidi (Born December 16 1995), is an international model and beauty queen and was crowned Miss Arab World Next Top Model 2019/20 and 2020/21 Sofia is the only beauty queen in the history of World Next Top Model that has won the title twice consecutively.

Early life and Academic background[edit]

Saidi was born in Rabat, Morocco. She then later moved to France, first to Brittany city, then settling in the city of Paris, where she attended her bachelor degree in International Management at ESC Rennes Business School, followed by a Research Master’s Degree in Technological and Organisational Strategic Evolutionism  at the University of Versailles and graduated as a Valedictorian.

She then joined the program of Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship at University Paris II Panthéon Assas and graduated from there.

Saidi worked as an apprentice as a Project Manager in the Thermal Industry at EDF France, managing the project of the construction of the Palmeira Powerplant in Cape Verde with her tutor Sebastien Girard. She then joined the company PSA as a project chief manager in the Automotive industry before deciding to join the company Interned as a project chief consultant and to establish her own consulting firm in France.

Modeling career[edit]

Saidi is a professional model and Instagram influencer, She began modeling at age nineteen she is now managed by Talent Model Management agency, she started her career in Paris, travelled to numerous Asian countries including Japan and South Korea and is one of the biggest influencer figures in the Middle East. 

The magazine Elle Arabia chose her to be the cover for the July/August  2020 issue.

Saidi is also the brand ambassador of Dior Makeup.

Pageantry[edit]

Saidi joined the World Next Top Model  in June 2019, she won the title of Miss Arab 2019/2020 the judges were impressed by her academic background and modeling career. Due to Covid 19 lockdowns, World Next Top Model decided to extend the title recognition for 2020/2021. Saidi was then invited by MTV Lebanon, the TV channel sponsor and diffuser of World Next Top Model for an Interview to discuss her winning twice the crown of Miss Arab World Next Top Model.
