Softphone.Pro and Softphone.Pro Free are softphone applications (clients) for Windows and macOS designed to call intake and outbound calling (as it does in call centers, helpdesks, telemarketing, etc.). Softphone.Pro can be used with any SIP PBX, either on-premise or cloud. Softphone.Pro is proprietary and multifunctional; Softphone.Pro Free is freeware and provides fewer features (less SIP accounts supported, no automatic call recording, English interface only). The free version is built on the same code base and released in April 2023.[3]

Softphone.Pro uses SIP protocol: inbound and outbound calls are made via a dedicated SIP server; p2p mode is not suported. Media streams are transmitted using the RTP protocol and can be encrypted through SRTP.
