SOFTWIN, founded in 1990 by Florin and Măriuca Talpeș, is a software company based in Bucharest, Romania with offices in Tettnang (Germany), Barcelona (Spain), Fort Lauderdale (United States), London (Great Britain) and Copenhagen (Denmark). SOFTWIN is a private company and is the producer of the BitDefender anti-virus engine.
