Sofya Danilovna Titova (Russian: Софья Даниловна Титова; born 27 January 2009) is a Russian figure skater. She currently trains at the Angels of Plushenko Academy in Moscow. Her coaches are Evgeni Plushenko and Dmitri Mikhailov. Prior to the 2018–2019 season, Sofya trained at Sambo-70 by coach Eteri Tutberidze.[1]
At present, Sofia can jump both a 3A and a 4S and has landed both in competition. She is also known for her enjoyable and lively performing style.
Sofia was in 23rd place in the Moscow Championship (junior) 2019.[2] Then she went to the Angels of Plushenko Academy in Moscow, and after a year, she got first place in the Moscow Championship (junior) 2020. [3] She was the Russian Championship (jr.vz) 2020 champion and Memorial of I.S Rusakov champion that year. [4] Sofia became the Youth competition “Medal for Mom” champion[5] and All-Russian competition "Zhiguli" 2020 champion[6] the next year. Sofia was the Moscow Championship (jr.vz) 2021 champion[7] and the Russian Championship (jr.vz) 2021 silver medalist.[8] She was the bronze medalist of Moscow Open Championship 2021[9], the champion of VS “Federation Cup” Stage 1[10] and VS "Federation Cup" Stage 3,[11] and the silver medalist of All-Russian competition in memory of the OC S. Grinkov 2022.[12]
