SOLOMON OPEYEMI, Populary known as DOLPH, is an an Alternative Jazz and RnB singer, song writer and multi instrumentalist from the Western part of Nigeria. He was born on the 3rd of October, 1993 in Kwara State Nigeria into a family of three kids of which he's first. He graduated in 2016 from School of Environmental Technology, Department of Quantity Surveying at [1]The Federal University of Technology Akure. He started his music career as an instrumentalist in a church choir, (RCCG, Spring of Life Parish. Olorunshogo, Ilorin) before he started his own band. Some of his popular works are Believe, and Stay - which are available on iTunes and other online stores.

BACKGROUND

SOLOMON OPEYEMI (Dolph) was born in Kogi State, Nigeria. His father is a civil servant while his mother is a nurse. He attended his primary education in Kogi State before moving to Ilorin for his secondary education. His musical career got more serious while he was a student at The Federal University of Technology, Akure.

           He started a band named FISHBONE SUPER BAND after he moved from a local band which he was doing grate. Fishbone Super Band was named after his favorite American band in 2014 his style of music was influence by Bruno mars, ed sheeran and Nigerian RnB singer Banky.W

He makes music in a genre known as ‘’alternative soul’’ a hybrid of soul, jazz and R&B.
