Somaliland Chronicle
Somaliland Chronicle, established in 2018[1] is a U.S. based news media organization that reports primarily on matters relating to the Republic of Somaliland. It is known for breaking news, such as the establishment of relations between Taiwan and Somaliland[2], uncovering corruption[3][4][5], social issues[6] and is a trailblazer in investigative reporting.[7] Somaliland Chronicle is frequently quoted by international media as a source for information pertaining to Somaliland.[8][9][10][11][12] In December of 2020, it also added satirical political cartoons to its range of commentary.[13]
Somaliland Chronicle's staff have been arrested multiple times in Somaliland as a result of their reporting.[14] Somaliland Chronicle's Editor is also known to write Op-Eds for various news organizations such as The Times of India[15] and The National Interest.[16]
