In addition, Sominder runs a weekly podcast, “Fundraising Made Easy” where he talks about the successes and failures of startups and helps entrepreneurs avoid mistakes that other startups have made.

Early Life[edit]

Sominder Singh was born in North India into a business family. Having lost his father at an early age, Sominder was raised by his grandparents. He grew up watching his grandfather struggling to run a transport company. Sominder always wanted to help his grandfather succeed, but before he had the opportunity, his grandfather passed away.

Through his ventures over the years, Sominder learned that your success depends on the people you work with, whether its Investors, business partners, advisors, or employees, few bad apples could corrupt your entire company which could eventually lead to a total business failure. Sominder learned how to recognise these bad apples early on to ensure business success.

Sominder knew that these bad apples were the exceptions, and most entrepreneurs are serious about working hard and being successful. Sominder wanted to help these entrepreneurs, which led to Sominder starting InvestorNations, and his podcast Fundraising Made Easy, where he talks about what he and other startup founders like him have done differently that has led to significant successes despite all the challenges.
