Son Dong-pyo (Korean: 손동표; born September 9, 2002), also known by the stage name Dongpyo (Korean: 동표), is a South Korean singer and dancer. He is best known as a member of South Korean boy group Mirae, and is also a former member of project group X1.[1]

Son was born on September 9, 2002, Yeongdeok, South Korea as the only child in his family.
Career[edit]
2019-2020: Produce X 101, debut with X1[edit]
He was revealed to be a contestant on the 2019 reality survival show Produce X 101 as a year and 5-month trainee representing DSP Media. He finished the competition in 9th place, making it in the lineup of the project group X1.[1]
All of X1's activites were subsequently and temporarily put on hold due to the Mnet vote manipulation investigation,[2] and on December 30, 2019, the group and its agencies were in discussions if they would continue activities or disband.[3]
On January 6, 2020, after the members' agencies couldn't reach an agreement due to the vote rigging scandal, it was announced from them the same day that X1 officially disbanded following their 5-month contract.[4][5]
2021-present: Debut with Mirae, solo activities[edit]
On January 31, DSP announced that they would be debuting a new 7-member boy group, tentatively known as DSP N. The next day, DPS N announced through their fancafe that their official name would be Mirae.[6] Son was introduced as the fourth member on February 5 and debuted on March 17 with the EP Killa.[7][8]
