Son of Shaolin is an upcoming American martial arts action film directed by Rick Famuyiwa based on graphic novel of the same name.

Development[edit]
On June 22, 2016, Sony Pictures acquired the martial arts script “Son of Shaolin” written by Jay Longino based on his upcoming graphic novel, with Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Ryan Kalil and Longino producing the film.[1] In July 2017, Rick Famuyiwa was hired to direct the film.[2] There have been no further developments as of March 2020.
