Sondre Norheim (born 12 April 1997) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a defender for MLS club Nashville SC.
Club career[edit]
Early career[edit]
After playing youth football for Bryne and Viking, Norheim joined Bryne during the 2015 season. He made his senior league debut in April 2015 in a 1-1 draw against Hødd.[1] In January 2017, he signed for Egersund.[2] In August 2017, Norheim continued his football career in Syracuse University while pursuing an education in physics and psychology.
Nashville SC[edit]
In January 2021, Norheim was drafted by Nashville SC in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft. Nashville paid $50,000 in order to secure the pick they claimed Norheim with.[3]
International career[edit]
While playing for Viking, Norheim was brought in for his first caps on the Norwegian U16 team.[4] The last game he had was with the U-19 against China.
