Sonya T. Anderson (born March 7, 1977), is an educator, author and filmmaker. She has authored dozens of non-fiction books centered on religious education, including two children's books.

Biography[edit]

Sonya T. Anderson is a graduate of Grace Bible College (ministerial licensing), Bloomsburg University (Bachelor's in English Education), and Pennsylvania State University (Master's in Curriculum & Instruction). She centers her ministry on drawing others closer to Yahweh, through Yeshua Messiah. She is the author of the bible study curriculum series entitled Torah Time Digest.

Ministry[edit]

Anderson entered into ministry with her husband, David Anderson in 2000. They began serving with a non-profit organization that fed the homeless and destitute on city streets. It was during this time that she earned her ministerial licensing and ordination through Grace Bible College. Anderson wrote and published her first book A Place to Call Home: Volume One Understanding Your Identity in Yeshua Messiah in 2004. This was the beginning of her writing ministry. In conjunction with her curriculum writing ministry, Anderson serves as a bible teacher. Her own curriculum studies are published as e-courses, books, and supplemental guides. These resources focus on deepening your relationship with Yahweh.

Beliefs[edit]

Anderson's teaching and curriculum resources align with the Hebrew Roots of the Bible. Hebrew and Greek vocabulary are incorporated into her curriculum. She consistently uses the Hebrew names for God, including Yahweh, Yeshua, and Elohim. Her curriculum has been readily adopted by Messianic Jewish circles and Hebraic Roots study groups. She also bridges the gap between Messianic Judaism and Christianity by using ancient historical texts that affirm the validity of the teachings. Anderson was raised in a traditional Baptist church. She later transitioned to the Assemblies of God denomination before attaining her license as a non-denominational minister.
