Southern Bontok (South Bontoc) is a language of the Bontoc language, Philippines. Language use is vigorous.

Distribution and dialects

Ethnologue reports the following locations for South Bontok:[2]

Cordillera Administrative Region: Mountain Province: south of Bontoc Municipality: Bayyo, Can-eo and Talubin towns.

Dialects are Tinoveng and Kinan-ew.[2]

Similarities

The language was reported to be similar to 4 other Bontok languages: North Bontok, Central Bontok, Southwestern Bontok and Eastern Bontok.
