Southridge Gaelic Athletic Club (Irish: Cumann Lúthchleas Gael) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Fontana, California.
History[edit]
Southridge Gaelic Athletic Club (SGAC) was founded on the 7th of August, 2023 at Southridge Tech Middle School by Justin Winch Justiniano as the Southridge Gaelic Football Club (SGFC), but changed its name about a week later to acommodate the plans for future hurling and camogie teams. The club has been growing steadily since then.
The purpose of the club is to promote the Gaelic games in the cities of Fontana and Jurupa Valley, while also promoting traditional Irish culture and values, especially to the 2.5 people of Irish descent in the state of California.[1]
