Space 1 is the upcoming first ambient/sleep studio album by Australian band Cosmos 17. It is scheduled to be released on August 10, 2019 and was produced by Batuhan Herkol and Azra Catal.
Background
The album was hinted at by Batuhan on July 11 when he said that his new album would "drop next month" and that "details" about it would be revealed "soon."[1] The album, the cover and tracklist was officially announced 3 days later when Batuhan tweeted that the pre-order would be coming on July 17 and that the album would be released on August 9.[2] On July 17th, the pre-order for Space 1 officially dropped on Google Play and iTunes where it was revealed the release date had been moved a day to August 10.[3]
Artwork and packaging
On July 26, Batuhan unveiled the production for Space 1 started September of last year where 15 tracks were made in 4 months. Tracks 16 and 17 were allegedly made 2 weeks before the pre-order dropped. The album cover was also made on an editing software on his phone for fun.[4]
He also stated that there might be a CD and/or Vinyl for the album and created a poll to ask his followers if they would want it.[5]
Track listing
The standard album is set to have 17 tracks and was unveiled on July 14 on Batuhan's Twitter.[2]
All songs were produced by Cosmos 17 and song credits were taken from the official iTunes site.[6]
