Space^DC is a data center provider headquartered in Singapore. The company was founded as Polymer Connected¹. In June 2019, it announced its partnership with GIC, the Singapore-based sovereign wealth fund, in addition to the acquisition of land in Jakarta Barat, Indonesia on which the company’s first data center campus would be built².

In September 2019, the company formally changed its name to Space^DC.

Jakarta Barat Campus

Located in Jakarta Barat, Indonesia, ID01 is Space^DC’s first data center campus and comprises two data centers, namely JAK1 and JAK2⁴ . In total, the campus is 1.8 hectares in size⁵.

The ID01 campus uses natural gas to produce electricity, while also recycling waste heat from gas generators to provide cooling through absorption chillers⁶. The campus primarily targets hyperscalers⁷ which require scalable efficiency for large data loads.

JAK1

JAK1 is a Tier IV data center that offers 24MW of power and a PUE of 1.3. Its specifications include⁸:
