Special Forces: Team X was a third-person shooter video game that was developed by Zombie Studios and published by Atari for Steam and Xbox Live Arcade on February 06, 2013. It was delisted from Steam on January 16, 2017 and delisted from the Live Arcade in August of 2016.[1]

Development[edit]

The game's development followed the release of Blacklight: Tango Down and coincided with the development of Blacklight: Retribution. Some assets directly come from each game. However, it also shares assets and many gameplay mechanics with MARSOC, an unreleased third-person shooter also developed by Zombie Studios.

Reception[edit]

It garnered rather mixed reviews with an average of 48 out of 100 on Metacritic from critics and 6.8 out of 10 from user reviews with many complaints of a lack of uniqueness and a buggy release.[2]
