Special theory of relativity
From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki
Special theory of relativity was developed by Einstein in 1905. Space and time, according to the theory, have no absolute meaning. They are relative to the observer who measures them. A certain kind of transformation law, known as Lorentz transformation, tells us how to infer space and time measurement of one coordinate frame from those of another reference frame.
The theory has two postulates.
