SpectroCoin is a web-enabled blockchain wallet provider headquartered in London.[1][2][3] It was founded in 2013 by Vytautas Karalevičius, Mantas Mockevičius and Justas Dobiliauskas.[4][5] As of 2018, it provides cryptocurrency exchange and wallets in over 150 countries and offers to its users International Bank Account Number (IBAN).[6][7]SpectroCoin provides payment processing services for merchants, and is one of the largest cryptocurrency payment processors.[8][9][10]

The company operates as a subsidiary of the Lithuanian-UK company,[11] Spectro Finance Ltd. In February 2014, the company introduced bitcoin wallet solution, allowing clients to hold their funds in Bitcoins and Euros.[12][13] Later in the year, SpectroCoin started to offer merchant solutions for online and physical businesses, allowing companies to accept payments in Bitcoins.[14][15] In May 2015, SpectroCoin introduced a prepaid card to link with the user’s SpectroCoin Wallet and function like a standard debit card, backed by bitcoins instead of traditional currency.[16][17][18] It offers four core services for its clients, including prepaid card, exchange, blockchain wallet and enables merchants to accept bitcoin, xem and dash as payment for a transaction.[19][20][21][22]
