Spencer Kruger is an American-born rugby union player who plays as a prop for New England Free Jacks in Major League Rugby.[1] He was selected as the #18 overall pick in the 2020 MLR Collegiate Draft.[2] He also plays for the Ohio Aviators in the 2020 World Tens Series in Bermuda.[3] Kruger played collegiate rugby for Ohio State University.
Krueger began playing rugby in Kindergarten but was a multi-sport athlete before focusing solely on rugby in college. In 2016 Krueger was selected as All Ohio Collegiate 15s team, 2018 3rd team All American, Team Captain in 2018 and 2019, and in 2018 he attended the Crusaders International High-Performance Program and played for Marist Albion.[4]
