Plot summary[edit]

Peter Parker attempts to give up his life as Spider-Man, but finds out that he is unable to let it go.

  • "Spider-Man No More!" was used as the main inspiration for the 2004 film Spider-Man 2 with the iconic moment of Peter Parker throwing away his Spider-Man suit recreated for the film.[1]
  • At the end of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter gives up being Spider-Man for five months after the death of Gwen Stacy. Later, after hearing Gwen's graduation speech, Peter gains confidence and becomes Spider-Man once again to fight Rhino.
