Spotinst is software company based in San Francisco that provides a service that helps businesses optimize their cloud utilization and reduce their cloud computing cost through the use of Amazon's EC2 Spot Instances.[1]. In 2017, Spotinst was named by Deloitte as Israel's Rising Star Winner with a 1370% revenue growth [2] and In May 2018, Spotinst announced its plans to increase its workforce by 50% from 100 to 150 employees by the end of the year[3].

Spotinst's platform integrates to IaaS providers such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure[4][5].
Spotinst additionally offers a serverless framework utilizing its underlying spare capacity technology[6]

Spotinst was founded in 2015 by Amiram Shachar, Liran Polak, and Aharon Twizer, who met while serving together in the Mamram unit of the IDF[7].
Funding[edit]
In February 2015, Spotinst raised a 600k seed round [8].
On July 2nd, 2017 Spotinst raised a $15 million Series A from Intel Capital and Vertex Venture Holdings[9].
On August 28th, 2018 Spotinst announced its $35 million in Series B funding from previous investors and Highland Capital Partners[10]
