Spray Dryer Absorber

Spray Dryer Absorber is a type of Gas Scrubber for removing acidic pollutants, heavy metals, and some Fine Particulate Matter from a Flue Gas stream.
- Sometimes abbreviated as SDA.

- It works in a manner similar to a Spray Dryer in that the liquid is sprayed into the hot gas stream, adsorbing the pollutants and drying into a powder which is collected.
