Sreenanda Shankar is an Indian actress and dancer, trained in contemporary and fusion dance forms. Her mother Tanusree Shankar is herself a prolific ( not neutral ) dancer and Sreenanda is actively ( clarify ) involved in their dance troupe - Tanusree Shankar Dance Company. She is the grand-daughter of famous ( clarify ) dancers Uday Shankar and Amala Shankar and grand-niece of the Indian sitarist Ravi Shankar. Her grandfather Uday Shankar is a legendary figure ( not neutral ) and is revered as the father of modern Indian dance ( citation needed ). These influences have made her the dancer that she is today ( vague, not neutral ). Sreenanda is a dancer in the Tanusree Shankar Dance Company.
