Sreenanda Shankar is an Indian actress and dancer, trained in contemporary and fusion dance forms. Her mother Tanusree Shankar is herself a prolific ( not neutral ) dancer and Sreenanda is actively ( clarify ) involved in their dance troupe - Tanusree Shankar Dance Company. She performs in majority of their dance programs performed around the world, along with their highly talented ( not neutral ) troupe of dancers. Born to the illustrious and talented ( clarify ) Shankar family, Sreenanda Shankar is the daughter of Indian fusion sitarist Ananda Shankar and the multi-talented ( clarify ) artist Tanusree Shankar, who is a dancer, choreographer and actress. She is the grand-daughter of famous ( clarify ) dancers Uday Shankar and Amala Shankar and grand-niece of the Indian sitarist Ravi Shankar. On November 2009, she married Gev Satarawalla and her marriage ceremony was attended by Kolkata’s famous personalities ( clarify ).[1] ( irrelevant source, it does not contain this information...? )

While growing up ( in what age specifically? ), she used to tour with her parents’ dance troupe as they performed in various countries ( which? ). Her grandfather Uday Shankar is a legendary figure ( not neutral ) and is revered as the father of modern Indian dance ( citation needed ). These influences have made her the dancer that she is today ( vague, not neutral ). Sreenanda is a dancer in the Tanusree Shankar Dance Company. Apart from dancing, she is generating interest ( vague, unclear. can this entire sentence be removed? ) as an actress. Since the beginning of her career ( since what year? ) she has worked in a number of ( what number? with what studio? ) short films.[3] ( this source only talks about one film not 'a number of'. the film is one hour. is it 'short'? what are the other films...? )

Sreenanda has worked in a Zee Bangla ( what is that? context missing ) original film ‘Jodi Bolo Hyan’ starring alongside Mir[4]. Recently she has completed shooting for director Suman Ghosh’s Bengali film ‘Basu Poribaar’ ( what is that? context missing. add 2-3 words which provide context to the reader )[5] and can be seen sharing the screen with Bengali film veterans ( clarify ) like Soumitra Chatterjee and Aparna Sen.
