Srinjoy Sen

Srinjoy Sen is a 24 year old sports management professional based in Kolkata, India.[1] He studied MSc International Sports Management from University of Northumbria in Newcastle, UK.[2] He loves to travel, and has covered 44 countries on a shoestring budget.[3]

Travel[edit]

He has also done a 10 Days 10 Countries Trip, where he flew every day in the morning for 11 consecutive days.[4] He visited the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia, after managing to find cheap return flight tickets.[1] He was invited by the Student Life Society of Northumbria University and Newcastle University to speak about travelling.[5] He was also invited to speak about his budget trips on fm radio.[6]

Rowing[edit]

He is the youngest British Rowing Umpire from India and has visited more than 200 rowing facilities in more than 35 countries.[7] He currently serves on the Rowing Committee of Bengal Rowing Club and was a Technical Official of Rowing Federation of India, who also served on the sub-committee of West Bengal Rowing Association.[8][7] He was also the Joint Convener of BRC Students Rowing Championships.[9] He coxed the Manila Boat Club crew in the ARAE-FEARA Regatta in 2012.[10]

He was invited by British Council India to a panel discussion about studying and life in the United Kingdom.[11]

He is the youngest Managing Committee Member of South Point Ex-Students Association.[12]
