Srinwanti Chakrabarti is a noted Indian classical dancer, choreographer and dance educator specialising in Odissi.
Srinwanti has given several Odissi dance recitals, lecture demonstrations and workshops in India and in several countries, and she has also been engaged in many international artistic collaborations.[1][2][3]
In 2002, Srinwanti established Srijati Arts, an Odissi training and performing arts center. Today Srijati Arts also functions as a creative arts space fostering international collaborations and cultural exchanges. Srinwanti is also the founder of Odissionline, a digital training platform for Odissi Dance.
Personal life[edit]
Srinwanti is an alumni of Presidency College (now Presidency University, Kolkata) and University of Calcutta. She is a postgraduate in Sociology.

Srinwanti is currently involved in Stories in Motion, an artistic project bringing together elements of Indian dance theatre, story telling and dance movements, and contextualising them in real life situations so that it becomes a vocabulary for spontaneous and harmonic self expression.
