History[edit]

St. Catherine's Hospice has been providing cancer/ terminal illness care since 1982[5] where the Queen Mother laid the foundation stone in 1982 for their building that was half built with the Crawley Mayor Alf Pegler [6][7]. In 1988 Diana, Princess of Wales visited the hospice to greet those in care [7][8]

Shops[edit]

The hospice receives donations solicited by individual volunteers such as Johnny and Alex Donnelly-Palmer, who plan to walk along the Great Wall of China to raise money for the hospice.[10][11]
