St. Philip Neri Catholic School was founded in 1954. Originally serving only kindergarten through eighth grade, it now includes a preschool that provides all-day instruction to three and four-year-old children. The academic standards of the school exceed state requirements and include integrated technologies to enhance classroom learning. The school boasts both award-winning faculty and students. Students across the grades find success in science and engineering fairs receiving top honors at both the state and national level. The dedicated staff have also been recognized as teachers of the year by various organizations. To further enrich the educational experience, a variety of electives and extra-curricular activities are offered such as art, music, photography, computer, Spanish, and yearbook. A wide variety of sporting options are offered including archery, soccer, volleyball, basketball, and track. More than just physical exercise, the athletic program is designed to foster the enjoyment of sport competition. Students lead community outreach projects that benefit programs such as local food pantries and surrounding non-profits. The most recent addition to the campus is a $2.2 million Family Life Center which includes a full-size gymnasium. The property also houses a 5,000 sq. ft. cafeteria that doubles as the tornado shelter in an emergency. The mission of the school is to promote charity, humility, and excellence through a Christ-centered education.
