St Matthew's Church is the Roman Catholic church for Leyburn, Queensland, Australia. It is in the Southern Downs Region of Queensland, in the centre of the rural town of Leyburn and on the western side of Toowoomba–Karara Road, which is part of Queensland State Route 48.
Construction of the church began in 1897. It was solemnly blessed in 1900 or 1901.[1] St Matthew's is a filial church of Sts James and John Church, Clifton, in the Catholic Diocese of Toowoomba. Mass is celebrated once a month.[2]
