St. Paul Biharwe High School is a combined middle (Senior 1 to Senior 4) and high school (Senior 5 to Senior 6), in the town of in Mbarara City, in the Ankole Sub Region of Uganda. The school is a Catholic church funded and owned, government-aided, mixed, day and boarding school.[1]

St Paul Biharwe High School is located in Nyabuhama ward, Biharwe division, Mbarara City, along the Mbarara-Masaka Road, approximately 12.8 kilometres (8 mi), by road, from City center,[2] north of Mbarara City and its second largest city to Kampala. Subjects offered[edit]
At Ordinary Level, they are ; Biology, Chemistry, Christian Religious Education, Agriculture, Commerce, Computer Studies, English Language and Literature, Fine Art, Geography, History, Mathematics, Physics and Kiswahili.
At Advanced ("A") Level subjects offered are categorised into Arts and Sciences. The Arts subjects offered are; History, Economics, Divinity, French, Literature in English, Geography, Kiswahili, Music and Fine Art. The Science subjects offered are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Agriculture, Subsidiary Mathematics and General Paper which is a compulsory subject
School operations[edit]
- Teaching the learners.[3]
- Conducting workshops and seminars for staff development
- Conducting spiritual activities for both the students and staff members
- Regular meetings for Board of Governors, parents, staff and students
- Visitation field work, study tours, commemoration and competitions
- Community outreach programmes
- Inducting new employees students in the school system
- Teamwork and unity is greatly emphasized in order to realize good result
Infrastructure[edit]
The school has 10 classroom blocks, 2 libraries, 1 labaratory, 2latrine stance two dormitories for both girls and boys accommodation.[4] In 2016, some Members of Uganda parliament like Tusiime Micheal, Francis Mwijukye and Oliver Katwesigye Koyekyenga attended a fundraising ceremony at the school, to girls dormitory.[5]
