Staphylococci phage G1

Staphylococci phage G1 is a virus of the family Myoviridae, genus Twortlikevirus, known to infect the bacterial species Staphylococcus aureus.[1]

The Gp67 protein of phage G1 has been found to interact with its host's RNA polymerase though an interaction with a sigma factor.[2][3]
