Star Awards 1996, is the third installment of the annual Star Awards ceremony hosted by TVC-8 of the Television Corporation of Singapore, which was now called MediaCorp. Its ceremony, broadcast on 23 June 1996, honored the best in Singaporean Television of 1995-96. The awards were hosted by Guo Liang and Yvette Tsui for the second and third consecutive ceremony, respectively. For the first time in the ceremony's history, its ceremony was not held at the traditional theatre at Caldecott; instead the ceremony was held at the Harbour Pavilion located at the World Trade Centre (now called HarbourFront Centre).
