Goodwill Thapelo Motshabi (born 01 April 2000), Professionally Known as Star Goodkid, is a South African Rapper, Singer, Song Writer, Instrumentalist and a Record Producer [1]. He was born in Mahikeng, The Capital City Of North West Province In South Africa & currently he is signed to his own Independent Label and Media Company Star Live Music.

His parent's names are Matseko Magdeline & Herbert Nosi Motshabi, & he is the last third born child after his two sisters meaning that he is the only boy child.

Star Goodkid began his first grade at the age of six back in 2006 and the name of the first school he attended was Rekopane Primary School and six years later after completing his sixth grade in the year of 2011, he then went to Sebopiwa Middle School to do grade Seven & Eight in the year 2012 then in 2014 he went to his last school to complete the remaining grades and the year was 2014 in Lapologang High School
Early Music Life[edit]
Growing up, he comes from a family that has no background when it comes to music, and he is the first to be a musician. So at the age of eleven (11), he learnt how to play keyboard and drums and it was on the year of 2011. Two years later he then became a full time pianist in his church from 2014, and as time went by his father bought him a PC with a hard drive that had already installed music production softwares and that's when he started making beats. Later around that same year (2014) he got to realise that he actually has a skill of writing songs, so he then began to record his own songs In his bedroom. The equipment was not yet of quality but he had patience as he was borrowing some of the stuff from his close friends.
Beginning of Recording[edit]
He continued recording music but not really going anywhere, and in 2016 that's when things became more easy for him as he bought a mini studio equipment. From that very same year, Star Goodkid never stopped recording till this date.
