2 Ply Government is a Punk Rock band from Las Vegas [1] who formed in 1997 and performed throughout the Las Vegas Valley performing at clubs such as the Cooler Lounge, among various other mid-sized venues and attracted a following in the mid-90's until the band took a hiatus for 17 years, reforming in 2018 with Original Founding Members Earl Smith[2] on Bass guitar and Eric Cline on vocals. Frank Further a 2nd Generation guitarist in 2 Ply Government (2000–2001) rejoined the band and the band recruited False Cause[3] drummer Mitch Myskiew as full-time drummer as of 2018. 2 Ply Government is currently recording an EP for Futile Substrates Records to be released by Fall 2020.
