Stargames is a 1998 direct-to-video science fiction film directed by Greydon Clark and co-written by David Reskin.
Plot[edit]
Kirk, the prince of a far-off space kingdom, seeks refuge from the tyrannical King Fendel, bent on ruling the galaxy. Finding himself on Earth, Kirk meets Brian, an outcast more in touch with science fiction than reality. Quickly forming a friendship that transcends worlds, they together must fight for the galaxy's freedom.

The film received universally negative reviews, with criticism aimed at its writing, performances, direction and various other aspects of production.
Legacy[edit]
Like many Greydon Clark films before it, Stargames was a target of RiffTrax, an offshoot of movie-mocking television series Mystery Science Theater 3000, released on May 18, 2017.[1]
