State Institutions and Property Committee (Georgia Senate)
The Senate State Institutions and Property Committee is a seven member legislative body consisting of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, and four members. The Committee operates under a Senate mandate to oversee all construction and maintenance of buildings, public land use, and all other property owned or managed by the State of Georgia.[1]
Scope and jurisdiction[edit]
The Senate State Institutions and Property Committee is responsible for legislation involving the regulation of all construction and maintenance of buildings, real estate, and any other property that the State of Georgia owns, leases, or manages.[1]
