Statoil Prize
The Statoil Prize (previously the ESSO Prize) is awarded by the Statoil Foundation (see Equinor [1]), the object of which is to work to support and promote initiatives that benefit society and that are of a national, social, scientific, commercial, and human nature. The prize—awarded once a year—was awarded for the first time in 1950, and is Denmark’s oldest science award [2] [3] [4] [5].
