The Steampunk Brew Works is a 3 barrel microbrewery based in Town and Country, Missouri. Steampunk Brew Works (SBW) was founded in 2017. [1] [2]
History[edit]
SBW's roots began out of a homebrew supply shop known as St. Louis Wine & Beermaking. It was a natural progression from a shop that carried all the ingredients for making beer, and was giving classes on the subject, to install a brewery inside the same space.[3]
It became the first brewery in Town and Country. Originally slated to open in 2016, construction and other delays were inevitable[4] and after they were resolved it finally lead to the Grand Opening May 27, 2017 [5]
They were featured in Sauce Magazine as one of 12 breweries slated to open that year.[6]
The tasting room has 10 taps, plus a hard seltzer tap. There is no official flagship beer as their offerings continuously rotate
Philanthropy[edit]
Steampunk Brew Works regularly contributes to support local charitable organizations. [7] [8] [9] [10] Owner Dave Deaton was quoted as saying the local community has given Steampunk Brew Works so much over the years we want to give back.
