Stefan Stanovic was a fictional footballer created by Belgian comics artists Raymond Reding (1920–1999) and Francoise Hugues and appeared in the Eric Castel comic strip, a football comic book character created by Belgian comics artists Raymond Reding (1920–1999) and Francoise Hugues. (Fifteen comic books were published)
He first appeared in the strip in 1979 and last in 1992.

In 1979, the new weekly magazine Super As published a series of Franco-Belgian football comics created by author Raymond Reding, who had already written the Vincent Larcher football comic 15 years earlier.
Yugoslav Stefan Stanovic arrived at Barça from OGC Nice, the star of the club, the mustachioed Stanovic does not really get along well with Eric Castel, the two having a real war of egos. But through shared exploits on the pitch, the two Blaugrana teammates would become friends, all under the guidance of British coach C.B. Kerr. A rival turned friendship.
