From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Stefano Vaccara is founder and editor of La Voce di New York (whose WP entry references him). I think this is enough for a wikipedia page.

Stefano Vaccara (born October 7, 1964 in Mazara del Vallo) is co-founder and editor of La Voce di New York living in New York City, NY, USA.[1][2]

Vaccara is an Italian journalist and a published author. He is a correspondent from the United Nations for La Voce di New York and for Radio Radicale. His articles, interviews, and opinions have been published in major Italian newspapers and magazines.

In 1998, his interview with judge Piercamillo Davigo in America Oggi made him the target of a libel lawsuit by former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi[3]

In addition to his work as a journalist, he has taught courses on journalism and Italian Mafia at CUNY since 2009.[4]

Books[edit]

Vaccara is the author of Vaccara, Stefano (2013). Carlos Marcello: The Man Behind the JFK Assassination. ISBN 978-1936274680. Search this book on , an analysis of how Mafia conspired to assassinate John F. Kennedy with the acknowledgement of the 'establishment' that was not displeased by the possibility.[5][6][7]

As the Editor of La Voce di New York, the US online newspaper in Italian, Vaccara has received the Amerigo Award[8]. The newspaper was proclaimed "an editorial experiment without precedent in Italian journalism". The ceremony was hosted by the General Consul of the United States in Florence, Benjamin V.
